Replace the breakage prone, plastic factory striker guide with a stainless steel striker guide for the Springfield XDs pistols (first generation, not MOD2), part number 27 on the Springfield diagram. This striker guide will never crack or fracture causing your pistol to be unreliable with misfires or have light strikes.
